About
You weren't wrong. It really was unaffordable.
For decades, custom software was for big companies — not because small businesses didn’t need it, but because the price kept them from asking. That’s the belief we’re here to retire.
If you wanted a system built around your business — not your business bent around off-the-shelf software — the entry price was six figures and six months. So small and mid-sized businesses learned not to ask. They made do with spreadsheets, texts, and one heroic office manager holding the whole thing together.
Then the price collapsed. AI-assisted development changed the economics of building software by roughly ten times. The Fortune 500 noticed immediately and started building. Most 15-person businesses haven’t been told.
EchoNova exists to close that gap — to build the internal tools, automations, customer portals, and integrations that SMBs always assumed were out of reach, at fixed prices and on fixed timelines a small business can actually say yes to.
The name
Echo, then nova
Echo is the thing your business already does, over and over. The repeated process. The weekly spreadsheet ritual. The phone call your team answers forty times a day. We listen for the echo.
Nova is a sudden burst of new light from an existing star. Not a new business — your business, radically brighter.
We find what your business repeats, and turn it into what your business is known for.
How we behave
The working rules
Your domain, your authority
You know why Thursdays are chaos. We’d never pretend to know your business better than you do. We just know how to fix the Thursday part.
Numbers, not adjectives
You won’t catch us saying “revolutionary.” If a claim matters, it comes with a number, a date, or a signature.
Prices out loud
Ranges on the website, exact figures in the roadmap, everything in writing. Vagueness is where bad surprises live.
Ownership stays with you
Your code, your data, your accounts. Any developer could pick up where we left off. That keeps us honest about the only lock-in we want: being worth keeping.
Where we work
Utah-based. In person, on purpose.
EchoNova is based in Davis County, Utah. Audits happen in person anywhere along the Wasatch Front — Ogden to Provo — because watching the work beats hearing about it. We’ll drive to Cache Valley or Nephi for the right conversation. And builds deliver anywhere: software doesn’t care about county lines.
Straight talk
New studio. Old-school promises.
EchoNova is young, and we won’t pretend otherwise. What we have is a working method, promises we put in writing, and demonstrations we’re happy to walk you through — real tools, built the way we’d build yours. The Opportunity Audit exists so you can try us at a small, fixed cost and judge the work, not the pitch.
Find out what your business repeats — and what fixing it is worth.
The Opportunity Audit: fixed price, about two weeks. You get a prioritized roadmap with a payoff estimate and a build price on every line. The roadmap is yours to keep either way.
